Black and White

Good morning! I am scheduling this post for tomorrow and looking  out of the window onto a beautiful cold, crisp day. The sky is blue and the sun is shining. But the weatherman says that will change tomorrow because they have forecast snow. Ah well, it is winter after all.

For my card today I have used stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs "Bird and Butterfly Labels" which is one of my favourites, and the sentiment is from the "Keep Climbing " set.  It is diecut with Spellbinders Labels 18. The backing papers are Dovecraft "Charcoal Prints". The pearls and butterfly are from my stash. I'm a bit unsure of this now because it seems a little busy. I  debated taking  off the stamped image and  putting on something different  and using the image on something else but in the end I left it.

Well that's it for today. I hope you all enjoy your day and manage to do a little crafting.

Christine, Again you are like Patricia and Wilma you are all unsure and unhappy with your cards today. It's great, it must be this weather that's doing it to you all. We have got rain so far so not to bad. Take care. Hazel

Hi Christine,
fabulous card. I don't think it's too busy but you know me I make busy cards. lol.
I love the monochrome and the papers. You seem to be doing a lot of stamping lately and it's wonderful. I am having trouble with my right hand and finding it very difficult to get the right pressure on a stamp at the moment. I know this sounds funny as I am left handed but you need your both don't you.
Have a wonderful crafty day. I hope you don't get too much snow.
It has stopped here.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

I have just had to come back to comment on this one Christine - I don't think it is too busy at all - I have seen quite a few cards with more than one patterned paper and I think they look lovely. This one is absolutely brilliant - I love the charcoal and white, I think the flower patterns uplift the dark colours.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
