Harbour Scene for MAWTT

Good morning dear friends and fellow bloggers.  Sorry I have been MIA for a while.  I went up north to spend a week with my sister.  Oh boy, did we have fun and we laughed so hard I'm sure some of you must have heard us - particularly Carole (Pollard), since my sister lives in Billingham. I went to the Crafters Companion store and spent too much! Par for the course when you are let loose in a craft store!

My Card

It is the A team's turn to make a card for MAWTT and our host is Ang, Mrs Duck, who has asked us to include something from the first verse of the Eurovision Song Contest winner by Dana way back in 1970 - All Kinds Of Everything.  I remember watching it in the Nurses Home sitting room when I was a student nurse. Obviously you younger folk will have no idea what we are talking about so to help you along, if you decide to join in with our challenge, here is the first verse for you.

"Snowdrops and daffodils
Butterflies and bees,
Sailboats and fishermen,
Things of the sea.
Wishing wells, wedding bells,
Early morning dew,
All kinds of everything
Remind me of you."

Please choose from lines 1-6 -  we don't all kinds of everything on one card ... lol!

Recipe
6 " square white base card
navy card for matting - from stash
linen card stock - Hobbycraft
hessian strip - Hobbycraft
Ship's anchor die - Cheery Lynn
Digi image - In The Harbour
Sentiment - computer generated.
Promarkers to colour.

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying some good weather.

Take care!

A great card - love the sentiment. I can remember being allowed to stay up late so I could watch the Eurovision Song Contest when Sandie Shaw won - how old does that make me feel!
