Christmas Is Coming

Good morning blog friends!

Yesterday I was sorting through a pile of magazines thinking that I really needed to get rid of some of this old stuff.  My problem is I just have to go through them in case there is something I've missed so it always turns into a marathon task. In this case, however, it turned out to be just as well because I came across these Craftwork Cards papers which were a freebie in Creative Cardmaking in 2010. Of course I then had to have a play with them and made fourteen cards, all very simple but effective using some of the guides in the magazine.  I have taken pictures of some of them to give you an idea. Phew! Quite a feat. I had been into town in the morning so didn't get started until well after lunch. Obviously, it was too late when I finished to photograph them, hence the late start this morning.

Not a bad find eh?  There are still quite a few bits left so I will be using them up when I can face it - a bit cheesed off with them at the moment! I also came across the magazine from the previous month which had some HOTP Christmas papers in so I might give them a go at some stage.

Well that's it from me for today. Have a great day! Love from Christine xx

Thank you for all your  lovely comments. I appreciate each and everyone of them.

  2. Blimey Christine - I would have made 14 by about this time next month!! They look lovely - must admit there have been some lovely freebie papers, I don't like the glossy ones though so when I find some matt ones I am chuffed to bits!! I also have a pile of mags that I need to go through - will be extra careful now - LOL. Hope you are well.

    1. Must confess I was pretty shattered by the time I had finished but I was on a roll. And they were so easy to do - just cut out and add some glitter, gems, card candi etc. But I think I'll give Christmas a miss for a little while.Lol! Christine x
