Santa's New Transport.

Hi friends, I made this card yesterday evening so obviously to late to take a picture and that is why I am off to a late start today. This  is a Christmas card which I think will be very appropriate for a couple of farming friends who have a herd of Friesans.  In fact she actually gave me the stamp a few years ago and  I've not used it till now. All I can say is  -watch out Rudolph!

This is the first year I have used traditional colours for my Christmas cards but I am quite enjoying them. The backing papers are  Home For Christmas from Papermania. I think I shall be going back for more of these now I'm in my red phase. The stamp is Christmas Ride by Penny Black and is such a fun image. I added a bit of glitter to Santas hat and a little punched out sprig of holly to the cow. The poinsettias are Marianne Creatables. The mini card candi down the sides was free in a magazine last month - can't remember which.

Well that's all for today. I hope you all have a good day.

Love from Christine xx

I would like to enter this card into http://christmascardchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ colour combo

Thank you for visiting my blog and for the comments you leave. I appreciate each and everyone of them.

  1. Good Morning Christine, Well you've got me chuckling here. Hadn't seen that image before as I have been so determined not to add to my Christmas stash. Love what you have done with the image also. xx Flora

  2. This is lovely Christine, I'm afraid I'm a traditional kind of girl when it comes to Christmas and find it hard to use other colours. This is a super image and you've coloured it so well

  3. Hi Christine, that's different Santa on a cow, what a hoot, just adorable. Red is Christmas although I have tried other colours but red it has to be.

  4. Hi Christine, what a wonderful image isn't that cow just so cute and the colour scheme is my type of Christmas card. Should try other colours but I just can't seem to work outside the box. Your flair for putting papers and colours together is exceptional. Love it! Hope you enjoy your Tuesday, love Christine H xx

  11. Hi Christine,
I missed this yesterday as I did my blog hopping before you put this on the blog.
Well what a super card, love the design and that stamp is fab. I know what you mean about your red faze, I too was thinking I was in a red faze for all the red tags I had shown. I made a card one year for friends that kept white ducks, they were so pleased to have a card with white ducks on.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
