Parisian Inspired

Good afternoon. Still no sign of this snow going. John had a GP appointment this morning in the next village so it was a case of digging out the snowdrifts to get to the road. It was then a pretty hairy drive, but he made it home in one piece.

My Card

Sneak peak of the inside

My base card is 6x6 burgundy cardstock. The patterned papers are from the Heritage Collection by Making Memories and they have been in my stash for many years. The striped one is Heritage Stripe - Deep Plum and the other is French Lace Dark - Deep Plum. I really love the richness of them and I had to force myself to use them. It's stupid isn't, but I hang onto papers in case I want them for "something special"! I think there are a lot of people like me out there. I used Parisian Motifs and Accents which is the first fancy die I bought. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash. This is another Becca Feekin inspired card.

Well just a quick post card today. Have a good day - well the rest of it anyway.

Love and hugs from Christine xx

  2. Christine your card is beautifull just love the richness of the colour. Poor you having still so much snow we woke up to a light dusting but it went quickly, having a little flurry at the moment but it won't come to anything. Keep warm. Hazel

  10. Love, love, love it.
Great papers and a fantastic layout.
Yep!! I have loads of papers that I say I will use then just give them a stroke and pop them back in the box. So, so silly but that the nature of a crafter.
Our snow in the village has all but gone, still plenty around us though. The blooming stuff still kept falling, luckily not lying for any length of time.
Keep Warm and Keep on Crafting
