Last week John and I decided we needed a break so we booked a last minute holiday cottage in West Wales and took off a few days later. And weren't we lucky with the weather? Incredible. The last three UK holidays have been a bit of a flop weather-wise and last year in Scotland it was total washout! Unfortunately, I think I left my mojo in our beautiful riverside cottage in Ceridigion! I really would have liked to have stayed an extra week, but you cannot be too greedy!!
This was not my first idea. Initially I stamped and coloured an image and then remembered I needed a circle on my card, and the image didn't fit ! So I used another LOTV image instead, Angels With Crib, and coloured it with Promarkers. It was then die cut it with SB Lacey Circles. I used Memory box Snowflake Corner and a Carla Craft punch for the snowflakes. The backing papers were from an extremely old C&C CD. I then just blinged it up with Papermania Shimmer Dots. If in doubt use lots of bling and glitter - you cannot go wrong with that at Christmas!! I didn't use a sentiment because of the script paper.
Well, rather a boring offering I'm afraid but let's hope my mojo follows me back home soon! Lol!
Love and hugs from Christine xx

ReplyDeleteHi Christine - I am so glad you had a lovely time and that the weather was good. I know you wanted to snuggle up in front of the log fire though - lol!! This is a lovely card, I love these shades. Mind you I did smile because I was looking at it from quite a way off and wondered what they were doing with a basket of spuds!!! Ooops the penny did drop when I got closer though - must get me new specs asap!

ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeletebeautiful card and image. Are they not just the sweetest little angels. Fab design too.
So glad you had a lovely holiday, and the weather was kind to you.
I too have to wear factor 50 sun cream as I have freckly skin and get prickly heat if in the sun too much. Although I had dark hair when I was younger I also had lots of red streaks in my hair too. Sadly I went grey at a very young age, following my grandmother who was fully grey at 30 years of age.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour Mojo will come back it is enjoying a holiday in the sunshine!!!
This heat is fairly frazzling my brain. What I cant understand I lived in the heat for years, it did not have this "lazy" effect it has on me here.
However I will enjoy the lazy effect for a while more if we continue to get good weather. We will have all winter to Craft.
Have a Great Weekend
Hugs
