CCC #16 Sylvie's Theme - Tree/s

Good morning.  I am here with another card for our little Christmas Card Club. It was Sylvie's choice this time and she wanted to see trees somewhere on our cards.  If you would like to see what the other girls made with trees you will find their links on my side bar.

My Card

My card is 6" x 6".   The backing papers are from Me To You "Winter Wonderland"  which I have had for a few years and now am starting to use up some old stash.  (I'm not being as good as ScrappyMo but I am trying - some  might say very trying ... lol!)   Another LOTV topper from a couple of years ago.   I die cut the tree with Dees Distinctively A Cut Above  (what a mouthful that is!) and used glitter card - yet more very old stash.   The sentiment circle is from Craftwork Cards and  the pearls are from my stash.  It's flat enough for posting I think so I stopped myself from adding too much in the way of embellishments.

Sorry I'm not managing to do much blogging or crafting lately.  One of these days things might get back to some form of normality.  Hope you are all keeping well, and thank you for dropping by today.

  2. Over here it's the same: warm summerdays and holiday-time and not much inspiration for cardmaking... And ofcourse the horrible airplane disaster which keeps our whole country in mourning.
Anyway, your card is gorgeous Christine!

  3. This is gorgeous, Christine! The dies are so pretty and a perfect embellishment to this wonderful image.
Love your design and great to hear how you are working on your stash too! Every piece of paper I use, feels great to me...and especially the embellishments as they take up more room!

  7. Such a lovely Christmas card Christine and red and white seem to be the theme this time judging by the ones I've seen so far. Love that tree die, it really adds dimension to your design despite keeping it flat for posting, which is always a bonus. Hope the pace of things slow down soon.

  25. Love that LOTV topper. Such a darling image, and the red & white is beautiful with this scene. I am loving that die cut tree too. The way you tucked it in behind the top mat was a clever design. Papers are pretty, and good for you at using up your stash. You'll be giving Scrappymoi a run for her money, as she's been doing fantastic in her goals! You both are inspirations to us all. TFS & Hugs
