Christmas Card Club # 26 Non Traditional Colours.

Good morning everybody.  Well this our final card for this year - but we will be starting  all over again in the new year.  This time it  was GranMargaret's turn to choose and as you can see her choice was to use non-traditional colours on our cards.

My Card

My card uses pink and grey which certainly qualifies for non traditional colours.  The papers are extremely old stash from Papermania, I think, but they were in my bits box so I may be wrong.

Recipe
Topper - Lili Of The Valley
Poinsettias - Old stash
Diecuts - Spellbinders
Sentiment - computer generated.

The poinsettias originally had yellow stamens at the centre which I removed and replaced with pink glitter. A nice and easy card which is actually pretty flat so I think it will be okay for posting.

Have a great weekend everybody.

  11. Such lovely soft & serene colors to go with this beautiful LOTV topper. It is such a sweet image and your colors enhanced it so well. As always you have a great layout to display all the embellies you add to make such pretty cards. Love it! Hope your celebration outing was just grand and that your family time was happy all round. Big Hugs & Merry Christmas

  14. Very pretty and the pink glitter centers looks lovely on the poinsettias.
I am collecting flatter card ideas for next year. I was in shock at the depth of some of my cards...resulting in some being mailed at small parcel rates!

  15. Hi Christine
Non traditional but beautiful. Love how you have glittered the centres of the flowers. Yes, Mr D had a shock at the Post Office yesterday when I sent him with bundles, so flat is good lol!
Hope you and John are well.
    Best wishes,
    Ang x

  25. A popular choice to use shades of purple, but they are all so beautiful I can see why. I like your resourceful use of the poinsettia's middles which just finish of your lovely card. Hope you have a very happy Christmas. Zx
