Christmas Card Challenge # 6 - Anything Goes

Good morning to you all.  I  hope you are all feeling well and that all you ladies are being spoiled by your husbands and offspring on this Mothering Sunday.   Spring is definitely just about here - although she keeps teasing us I think by giving us good days then bad.

Gosh, these two weeks fly round so quickly.  This time it was Sylvie's choice of "Anything Goes".  I actually made two different cards since I couldn't make my mind up.  So now I have an extra one which I will show later.

My Card

Recipe
 Heartfelt Creations - Sentiment Stamp
Creative Expressions - Snowflake Lattice embossing folder
Spellbinders - Opulent Ovals
Spellbinders - Classic Ovals large
Spellbinders - Foliage
Marianne Creatables - Poinsettia die
Pearls from stash

My base card is 5" x 7" made from Papermania card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Encore Ultimate Metallic Blue.  I also used the same ink to colour the card stock because all the blue card I had was totally wrong. I then added a smudge of ink to the poinsettia and some Diamond Dust. A few pearls finished it off.

Well that's it from me for today but I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  12. That sentiment stamp is awesome! Your card really does it justice. Thanks for the great idea to colour the dies with the ink...so many times my cardstock is just not quite the right shade...this would solve that problem!

  15. Beautiful. The colors are so very calming & pretty together; the die is regal & works perfectly with the calligraphy look of that sentiment stamping & the tiny pearls. Lovely embossed background, dimensional flower embellie - and just a most splendid card. Happy Mother's Day. TFS & Hugs
