Christmas Card Club # 18 - Christmas Carols

Good morning.  I hope you are all well.  It's been pretty cold here and I must confess that we have lit the woodburner a couple of evenings!!  I don't like being cold!  Here I am with my card for the Christmas Card Club - a day early again because I will be posting again tomorrow.  Rita is our hostess this time and she has specified Christmas Carols.

My Card

Recipe
Cardstock - The Range
Midnight Clear stamp - JustRite Stamps
Poinsettia - Marianne dies
Frosty Border - Memory Box
Leaf sprigs - Spellbinders Foliage
A2 Curved Borders One - Spellbinders

I used white card stock from The Range and formed a 7" x 5" card base and I die cut the bottom of both front and back edges with SB Curved Borders One.  Whilst still in the die I inked across the bottom with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue ink pad.  I used the same ink pad to stamp the beautiful image.  I really love this stamp and it barely needs anything adding to it to make a lovely card, so it makes for nice fairly quick and easy cards.   In order to have the same blue throughout I also inked up some white card before die cutting the foliage sprigs.  I then added Twinklets Diamond Dust to the Poinsettia and Crystal Glamour Dust to the snowflake border to give the feeling of iciness .

If you would like to see what other members of the CCC have made then if you pop back tomorrow you will find their details on my sidebar. My Christmas cards are mounting up but I really need to get a move on because I do send lots and lots of cards!  I keep saying I will cut back but never do.

Well I will leave you now.   Take care.

  11. This is a beautiful stamp Christine and your card shape and details set it off beautifully. Great one for the theme this time and another card for your Christmas pile. Mine is growing slowly but like you I need to make so many more.

  13. Absolutely stunning Christine, I just LOVE everything about your beautiful card.
I have made a BIG decision to cut back on cards this year. We send so many to people we never see or hear from one year to the next. The ones that live 100s of miles away fair enough. Ones that live not that far away will have to be thought about before sending.
    Heating on here when needed.
    Have a great weekend

  18. Christine, once again, a most elegant blue & white theme that is so lovely. I really like the S/B curved border treatment. The snowflake border and those pretty poinsettias were just the right embellishments for the wonderful music score. Great interpretation of Rita's Christmas Carol. Enjoy your nice fire - it's still hot in our area. TFS & Hugs
