Snowflakes for Winter Wonderland

Good Morning I hope you are all well. It is dry here but so cold, and it's June .....

Today my card is my DT post for Winter Wonderland.  It is the turn of the Snowflakes Team and Cindy, our hostess this time, has chosen, appropriately, "Snowflakes".  Please remember we just accept Christmas projects.

My Card

Recipe
6" square card base - The Range cardstock
DP - Papermania "Contemporary Christmas" - ancient stash
Embossing folder - magazine freebie
Die - Presscut Round Stitch Hole dies
Silver snowflake - tree decoration bought from Blue Cross charity shop

I temporarily attached the embossed piece to the card front and die cut the hole then sandwiched the thread from the snowflake decoration between the two pieces and glued it together.  Silver Cosmic Shimmer Silver Pearl PVA formed the pearly dots and here I have one extremely simple Christmas card, yet so effective.  It really does look so much better in real than the picture shows.  I knew that snowflake would come in handy one day!!

Please pop across to the blog and see what the rest of the team have made.  I am sure you will be inspired to join in, and what could be more simple than snowflakes?

Our sponsor is LC Designs (used to be known as Little Claire) and they offering  six digi images, and also Drawn With Character who are offering a £10 voucher to spend in store.  So come on, sort out those snowflake stamps and dies and join the challenge.  What have you got to lose?

Well that's it from me.

Take care.

  13. Christine love your card, it's gorgeous. I have those papers, I might just pinch your idea if you don't mind. Beth has to raise £600 as she qualified for Olymipia in the Shetland pony racing and because of that she has to raise the money for a children's hospice, she wants to do cards and sell them along with other projects, I think she would manage this and we could think of something instead of the snowflake I am sure.
