Mr & Mrs

Good morning, and another beautiful one too. Today I am showing one of the wedding cards I have made.

My Card

Recipe
7" square card - Anna Marie Designs
lilac card stock - Hobbycraft
embossing folder - magazine freebie
Delicate Aster die - Heartfelt Creations
Mr & Mrs die - Creative Expressions
Double Pierced Noble Rectangles - Creative Expressions
Swirl die - Marianne Creatables

The card looks pink but it is called lilac, and when you see it beside the pink card you can really see the difference.  I die cut the Mr and Mrs and the hearts in both white and lilac and then offset them slightly to give a shadow effect. I don't know the bride's colours but the invitations were in pink and lilac so I took that as a bit of a hint.  Wonder if I was right in my guess?  Well I'll know in about ten days.

Well that's all from me today.  Hope everybody is well and enjoying the summer weather.  Dare I say it's too hot?  Being so  fair and very fair skinned I can't cope with the sun, so it's Factor 50+ and a hat whenever I venture outdoors.  But I know I'm probably in the minority so if you like it - enjoy it!

Take care.

  8. Wow! this is a gorgeous wedding card Christine… so pretty and elegant. Love those scrummy flowers and the fab embossing. :-)
Hope you're having a good week. Ah it was too hot for me too. My bp goes through the roof and so I can only sit in front of my tower fan and do nothing... sounds nice... but can be frustrating when you have stuff to do. Glad it's a bit cooler today! :-D
Love and hugs, Sue B xx

  10. Hi Christine
Just beautiful. That split embossing folder adds interest to the background without competing with your lovely florals.
I've been enjoying the Sun. Been told to stop my Vit D tabs so I'm getting as much of the natural stuff as possible lol!
