Hot! Hot! Hot!

Good morning.  Here I am with the last of my three in a row!

Please scroll down if you are looking for my Christmas Card Club card.

I am very much a pastel girl so this DT card for International Art and Soul challenge "Hot Colours" really took me out of my comfort zone.   Why not pop over to the blog and take a look at what my teamies have come up with and maybe you  will be inspired to join in the challenge.  We are a JFF challenge blog (Just or Fun) so no big prizes just cute banners for your side bars.

My Card

Recipe
7" square base card -  Anna Marie Designs
all papers/cardstock from my ancient stash
flowers - rose dies from Brittania
leaf strip - Brittania
Provence dies - Sue Wilson
butterfly dies - Hobbycraft Intricut Dies
quote - computer generated
black pearls - from stash

It has been a very mixed few days around here.  As I said previously we were in real need of the rain the other day but since then it has been cooler and windy.  The blossom is all getting blown off the trees and covering the garden, so much so that when I had a quick glance out of the window it Thought it had snowed ... lol!

Well that's it from me. Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Lovely the bright pop of colour on your cracking card. Hints at the promise of Summer.
Lovely quote from Mr Emerson too.
A good mixture of rain and Sun at this end but hopefully just Sun today as I've got washing out lol!

  9. Hi Christine, really pretty colours and layout. I love soft colours too but it's nice to change it up sometimes.
Why is it every time the blossom comes out the wind blows, such a shame as it looks so beautiful, same with the poppies too.
    Hugs Sue W.

  10. What a wonderful card. I always love the hot and bold colours on others cards, but find it hard to do myself!

    These bold colours look fabulous.
