MAWTT - Item From The Song

Good morning folk.   Well I do hope that you haven't been washed away by all this rain.  Yesterday was a very strange day.  It started out extremely frosty and icy with a bitterly cold wind.  Then by late morning the rain started and has barely let up.  Ah well, good for our two wells - always a bonus as my lovely sister would have said.  She was always one to see the glass half full.  If you are not a regular visitor to my blog - we live in a very rural part of Oxfordshire and do not have mains water or sewage, hence the reference to the wells.

Mrs Duck is hosting this challenge and she is asking for something from the verse of this particular song by Dana "All Kinds Of Everything". You need to choose something from the bold type. If you choose to use birds then they must be seagulls, not just generic birds. Very fussy is our Mrs Duck!!

"Seagulls and aeroplanes, things of the sky,
Winds that go howlin', breezes that sigh
City sights, neon lights, grey skies or blue
All kinds of everything remind me of you."

My Card

Recipe
6" blue square card base - Hobbycraft
DSP Harbour Boulevard - Craftwork Cards
Digi Image - Only Fish
Lighthouse die - Cheery Lynn
Die - Spellbinders Labels 18
Promarkers to add a little colour

I really wanted to use just seagulls but didn't have any images to fit but I had  this one which included a pelican as well.   I decided to use seagulls in the backing paper and also in the corner.  So you got lots of  seagulls Mrs Duck, and  I threw in the pelican free and gratis ... lol! The two large seagulls in the image are eying up the fish that the pelican is flaunting.

I've had the DSP for quite some time and only used one piece out of it so I'm glad it's getting a fair outing this time. I've also had the digi image for probably a couple of years and it was still in it's zipped folder! Unfortunately there is no indication of which company it is from so if you know I would appreciate the information. The seashells in the corner were cut from another of the papers.

Please pop over to the blog and see what the rest of Team A have made to fit the challenge and maybe consider joining us.

Take care and enjoy your day.
