Texture

Good morning.  My card today is my DT card for IAAS where the remit is to use texture on your project.

My Card


Recipe
5 x 7" Kraft base card - Papermania
kraft card - Papermania
Argyle embossing folder  - Die'sire Crafters Companion
bronze corrugated card - stash
wide jute ribbon - Hobbycraft
bakers twine
button from stash
computer generated sentiment

I think I have achieved the texture with the additions to my card so this is another male card for my box.  I never have enough cards for men readily available so this year I decided I would remedy this and whenever possible make a male card.

Thankfully yesterday's snow only lasted until about lunch time and didn't settle. I'm keeping fingers crossed because February can be quite a bad month for snow around here.

    Saw this beauty as I was looking for the CCC. Definitely has loads of texture, in addition to a very stylish design. Love the impression you've got on the background kraft. Glad I got to enjoy this pretty card! TFS

    Such an awesome male card Christine and yep, you totally cracked the texture challenge. I think the whole DT have had fun with this one :). Love the monochromatic theme going on here with all the emphasis placed on the texture :) :) Snow - yuk, yesterday was just a grey damp day up here but today the sun shone. Fingers crossed you get lots of sunshine soon :) xxxxx
