Using a Stencil at Christmas Card Club

Good morning.  This time our little group have been challenged to use a stencil on our card. This is not something I usually do, and we always have the option to do "anything goes", but I like to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone so this is only my second ever stencilled card.

My Card

I have had this stencil for years and this is now it's second outing. In fact I last used it back in 2016 for another CCC challenge. This time I used different colours and different dies and it seems to have worked out well.  I actually bought a new stencil especially for this challenge but I've been so busy with my WI crafting I didn't get chance to practice with it.  Still, that will be a pleasure for later.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  7. It's absolutely beautiful Christine, love the gorgeous stage and your pretty colours. I have quite a few stencils but seldom use them, which is a pity as they are so very effective, keep safe, Kate x
