Fancy Fold Card for Christmas Card Club

Good morning. It's time for another card for our club and this time I chose the theme which is to show a fancy fold card.

My Card 1

I have made a bridge  card but put a full sheet of acetate at the front give it strength which then made it into more of a diorama card. When folded down it measures 8" x 6". I used paper pad from The Works called "Snowy Christmas" which I bought last year.

Card 2

I made a 7" easel card using papers from the same pad and added some JND snowflakes

I thought  I was going to be unable to post because on Thursday my computer was attacked by a virus which added a trojan and has completed wiped out my computer!! I cannot even open it. Luckily I still have my very old Windows 7 computer from when I upgraded to Windows 10 with a new computer. John has set it up again for me this morning so I can use Blogger, gmail etc at least. He has removed the hard disc from my machine and has been working on it for the past couple of days but it appears to be kaput. Sadly I have not saved the last couple of years work to my external hard disc so I have lost all my photos, pictures, digi images etc.  Please, please do  be sure to save your work on a regular basis to an external source. Luckily all my documents were saved elsewhere - initially I was in a real panic because I am secretary of our WI and have masses of stuff on my computer!!

Hope you are well  and having a better time than me!!😀😄

Love and hugs

Christine

  2. Two fabulous cards Christine and both have a lovely fancy fold. The papers you have used are so pretty too. I will be joining in shortly but time has been taken up with card orders this week but I will be there soon.
Sorry to hear about your computer troubles, these viruses are so easy to download unsuspectingly. I hope you get it sorted soon.

  4. What a nightmare for you with the computer Christine, we have become so dependant on them now, sadly.
However your cards are beautiful, never heard of a bridge card, no idea what it's like. Your scene toppers are beautiful. Thank you for the challenge, Kate x
