This is a Sarah Kay image which I won as blog candy from Bev Rochester last year and this is the first time it has been inked. It is so sweet that it certainly won't be the last time. I love Sarah Kay images and I have ordered some more. Am I brave or what? No stopping me now. Lol!

So many people love the SK images and it's no wonder, they're all so cute and easy to colour. Love your card layout and the beautiful gingham bow.
ReplyDeleteCheers for a good crafty week coming up.
Elaine
Lol, the times I've forgotten to colour a bit on my image lol. Your colouring is lovely. SK images are always so pretty aren't they. I find it hard to get started colouring with pencils so I've started laying a base colour (lightest shades of whatever I want the colour palette to be) and then using the pencils to shade and define. I'm finding it so much easier. Thanks for popping by my blog. Hugs lin
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Linda. It all helps! Christien x
DeleteHi Christine, love Sarah Kay too and still have some die cuts to make cards from but they are so cute I don't like parting with them. Love the colours you have used and your colouring is fantastic! Love Christine H xx
ReplyDeleteSee you can colour! Lovely card Christine..Sarah Kay cards are really good for colouring, we used them earlier this year when we did some Promarker sessions in the card classes my friend and I teach, Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteFab colouring Christine, and a gorgeous card and I hope you enjoyed your Zumba class Hugs Elaine
ReplyDeleteChristine this card is adorable and I think the flowers look good as they are so not to worry. Your colouring is looking so good and I am getting really jealous. I avoid it alot at the moment as I am waiting for my new glasses, think I need to see properly to colour (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it.LOL!!)
ReplyDeleteTake care Linda x
Hi Christine - I love this card and the image is sooooo cute. I bought some of the SK stamps a little while ago - aren't they really lovely. I love these colours (my faves!!) they match my laptop. As for your afterthought about the flowers - you actually made me giggle - especially when you said "I have just realised what a clot I am etc." Methinks we were separated at birth! That's me to a tee!
