Christmas Box

Hello blog friends

Rather a late start for me but thanks for popping over to see me today.

Today I am showing one of my boxes that I have made for Christmas. Usually I use a quote rather than a picture, but I thought this might be a nice change from a Christmas card, or even just a Christmas ornament, for want of a better term.

Again I have used one of the very first stamps I bought about 10 or 11 years ago. I used to use it a lot but the poor thing got relegated to the back of the drawer and has only just re-emerged into the light of day.
It is by an American company called Petulama. It is ideal for quickness because it needs little or no colouring. In fact if you add too much colour it looks very busy and messy.

This image is just showing the 3D effect of the box card and the card/ribbon stand.

I stamped in  Encore Ultimate Metallic Silver and embossed with detail silver embossing powder . I used Glossy Accents and Diamond Dust to gove the iciness on the roof and trees. The snowflakes are Marianne Creatables Swedish Snowflakes and  the borders are Memory Box Frosty Border, coated in glossy acccents and then Crystal ulltrafine glitter. I then added the diecut trees and that's it.

I thought I would enter this in Creative Harmony : Almost White Papercraft Challenge,
Anything Goes Challenge Blog  :Early Christmas, Sparkles Christmas Challenge: Sparkles and Bling,
,Crafty Sentiments: Lets Sparkle, Lady Bug Crafts Challenge:  Anything Goes, Penny Black at Allsorts:  Early Christmas Makes, No Matter Which Challenge: Diecuts and/or Punches

Well, hope you enjoy the rest of the day.

With love from Christine xx
