Aster Die

Good morning friends, and welcome to Lydia my newest follower. Glad you are here Lydia and hope you enjoy what you see.

I have been wanting the SB Heartfelt Creations Delicate Aster die for some time but kept telling myself I had enough. In the end I couldn't resist any longer and it arrived this morning, hence I had to use it straight away. Well you do, don't you?

My Card

I already had an idea what I was going to do today - and using the aster was not part of that plan!!  However I cut three of the second size and added them to my card in place of what I was going to use.  My card is approximately 6 x 6 " and made from some cream card stock.  I ran a piece of brown card stock through Couture Creations "Damask" embossing folder.  I then die cut another piece of brown card with  SB Borderabilities Bracket Borders One.  The striped card stock is from First Edition "Daydream".  I then just added a few pink pearls and some card candi to the aster to finish . This card is nothing like it started out but I'm not unhappy with it.

Well that's all for today. See you again soon.

  13. Hi Christine
A gorgeous card. I've been toying with the idea of buying SB flower dies. Cards look so stunning with them on. I've just invested in the bracket borders 2 which I love. A superb card anyway.

It is 5:30 am and I have had a wonderful 6 hours sleep...just visiting for a bit and then back to bed to try to get another hour or so of sleep. This morning I feel like i may be starting to get over it but poor DH is rough...doesn't help that we both picked up a cold on the plane...of course he is at death's door! lol
