(The dies used are SB Borderabilities Bracket Borders One and SB Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters.)
We had a really nice day out on Sunday .We had to go to Chepstow to pick up something for John so we made a day of it. The weather was glorious and we went across country via the Forest of Dean instead of just whizzing down the motorway. We stopped off for lunch etc and had a really pleasant day. I think we need to make the most of them because although so far we have still been having great weather (today has been almost unbearably hot!) it can't last much longer. The mornings are quite dark and it is getting dark quite early too. Autumn is a lovely time of year - but let's keep a bit of summer for now.
Well that's all from me. Hopefully I will be able to produce something in the next couple of days!

Love your card Christine. Beautiful colours and the Aster is stunning. Hugs Rita xx
ReplyDeleteHello Christine, beautiful card with gorgeous dies, I love the Aster die and although mine arrived last week I've not used it yet. Wonderful colours too.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a gorgeous day up here too, we went for a walk around Culloden battlefield, we live just down the road from it, been there many times, but never walked around it all, never saw the point before, but today the weather was just right for it. Blowing some cobweb away. Autumn is certainly on it's way though and the days are getting shorter, better to make the most of the good days, hugs Kate x
Really lovely card Christine. Love the colour and the cardstock that you have used.

ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love the design of this. It's amazing how different it looks in a different colour. Great embossing too.
I might not be posting anything for a while as my I mac has decided to play up.
It won't go on the Internet wirelessly. I'm afraid it's getting quite old like me and needs a new part, like me. Lol.
I am commenting on my I pad at the mo.
Love Chepstow and the Forest of Dean such beautiful scenery. I do envy you your trip.
Have a wonderful crafty evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
ReplyDeleteGosh how different a colour can make a card look total different, I have to say I love this one, the brown one was lovely but this one is gorgeous.

Yes, Yes, Yes, lets hang on to summer as long as possible. With the darker mornings and evenings Autumn is creeping in the slower it creeps the better IMO.
Have a Great Day

Think we all have days like that Christine. I find it hard to craft at home but when with the girls at the shop we can craft all day and night...weird yet I have it all here at home!

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Autumn Christine so I can't wait! Anyway just to say that although I love the other card, this one is my favourite because I love the blue colours you have chosen. This is more me definitely!
ReplyDeleteMust say that my CCC card has been finished apart from one final tweak (and I am scratching my head over this) for three days. It needs a 'something' but I just don't know what. Grrrr. Where is Mrs Mojo when you need her.
Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
That is gorgeous Christine and although the same die etc it's fabulous because of the colour! Absolutely love it.
ReplyDeleteI am an autumn lover like Sue. It's been too hot for me this year but it was nice to see some sun for a change lol! Karen x
