A Milestone Birthday

Good day to you all, although it's looking pretty awful here.  Cold, misty, windy and  showery. Hope it's better where you are.

My Card

This card was commissioned by the same lady I made the last 65th birthday card for.  Had to use the flash again and so the pictures aren't good. The pearlescent cardstock looks very shadowy where the flash caught it but I couldn't take another because it was being collected.

An easel card, as you can see, using white and yellow pearlescent cardstock from Jellybean crafts. I used SB Detailed Scallops and SB Radiant Rectangles. The flowers are from Hobbycraft and the ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Well this post is short and sweet today and I am now off to town to do food shopping - I lead such an exciting life!!

  2. Gorgeous card Christine. Isn't it funny how some cards do not show up well on camera. I often find that the colours change slightly. I love the design of this card and the dies.

  14. Hi Christine, this is a beautiful card - so classy! What wonderful use of those gorgeous dies. We usually have to do our big food shop on a Saturday because of work...but role on those light evenings when we will feel more like venturing out on a Friday night to do it, thus freeing up our Saturdays, lol hugs Carole Z X
