ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! This is so detailed and full of wonderful flowers and embellishments. The peek at the inside looks lovely too.
ReplyDeleteYour friend must have been pleased to receive such a "keepsake" card! The papers are beauitful so i do know what you mean about holding onto them.
The past couple of years I have tried to balance this feeling by sometimes using some of my lovely pages and sometimes using my older, not quite so nice stash. I find if I can layer the not so nice ones with a bit nicer ones, then I can manage with using them up.
But it is such a treasure to use the beautiful ones like you have done here!
This card is beautiful Christine, love everything about it. xx Flora
ReplyDeleteOooooo this is stunning Christine! I know what you mean about papers lol love this peachy colour its really gorgeous. I'm off to bed now I'm tackling the garden tomorrow so probably won't be walking upright the day after hahaha take care hugglessss Sue xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, Christine! This is an amazing card for a 65th birthday. I love the colours and all details.
ReplyDeleteI understand you will also be 65 this year and so am I. My birthday is on a date which everybody knows since 2001: sept. 11th....
Well this day also was my grandfathers birthday, so I always remember him on this special day.
Enjoy spring!!

How lucky was Miss Sue to get this lovely card to celebrate a milestone birthday. (sigh, mine is in the past! LOL). Love the soft color palette you selected, and those Webster Papers are simply too beautiful on this card. The flower design in the dp was perfect on this card. I never know quite how to use the larger designs and the papers end up staying in the stash. You used them wonderfully well on this card, and I'm sure Sue will treasure it. TFS & Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Christine! Look at all those delish details! WOW! Everything is so lovely - the lace, the pearls the flowers... Sue is going to ADORE this!
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Easter, my friend!
hugs, Asha
