Christmas Card Club

Good morning.  I am back at my usual early morning post today, not midday like yesterday.  I have never been as late as that when posting a card.  Gosh these two weeks certainly come around quickly.  It's time for my friends in our little club to produce another card to add to our collection so that we are not one of those who gets caught out in November and panic because they don't have enough cards made. Making them all year round is great fun too.  This time Rachel chose the theme and she wants mystery or magic. As usual I am posting a day early so the rest of the girls will be showing their cards on Sunday.

My Cards

Recipe
7" x 5" white base card - Papermania
black card - stash
image - from internet
image printed onto linen card stock
digi sentiment - had for ages
star punch outs
gems - from stash
lots of glitter

Since I took the picture I have replaced the sentiment.  I obviously had not allowed the glue to dry before putting the sticky pads on and it shifted.  Why do you never notice these things till you have already taken the picture?  This image of the snowman waving to Santa made me smile.

Recipe
5" x 7" white base card - Papermania
image - from my Greeting Card Factory programme
printed onto linen card stock
sentiment - computer generated
lots of glitter

Unfortunately I just could not get a good photograph. Nothing really magical or mysterious about this card but it looks like a fairy tale and I couldn't resist it.  The glitter isn't showing up too well but it is definitely there.

We have had some very mixed weather over the last week or so but Thursday and Friday were mostly sunny.  I do like autumn but don't want it to come too quickly!!

Take care and enjoy your weekend.
