Christmas Flowers and Greenery at CCC

Good morning and hope you are well.  Seeing the sunshine makes such a difference doesn't it?  Makes you feel good after all the rain and mist and fog. Yesterday was lovely and apparently it will be like this all week.

It's time for our little Christmas Card Club to produce another card.  This time Mary is our host and want to see poinsettias or other Christmas greenery.  I have managed three cards, all fairly CAS and I think I have covered Mary's remit pretty well.

Card 1

Recipe
5" x 7" base card
green card stock - Rymans
Festive embossing folder - Sheena Douglass
Trailing ivy dies - Sue Wilson
digi image - from stash
red pearls from stash

Holly and ivy definitely counts as Christmas greenery and I haven't used this image for a few years so it was time for it to reappear.

Card 2

Recipe
6" square base card
gold card stock - Anna Marie Designs

 Sentiment stamped in white
pearls from stash

I love the hellebores and berries on this image and the bunnies look very sweet - but believe me that was not what I was thinking when the little blighters were digging in my lawn yesterday morning! The joys of living in the country.

Card 3

Recipe
4" x 6" base card
red card stock - Rymans

sentiment - computer generated

This one shows the poinsettias that Mary asked for plus a few extra flowers.

Well I hope you are enjoying some good weather where you are.  I was out doing some tidying up in the garden yesterday. It was looking very messy.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  5. Three great cards and all so different. Must admit I have a soft spot for the bunny card though. The blackbirds are playing havock with my front lawn digging for worms and throwing up tufts of grass. It was beautiful weather here yesterday and out in the garden all day but today is back to being dull and overcast with rain forcast for later. Hugs Mrs A.

  10. Definitely covered the challenge theme with these 3 beautiful cards. That is a darling bunny image. They are rather like squirrels, aren't they? Much cuter in pictures, than IRL doing damage to your lawn, etc. I'm loving each one of these, and they are so different too. Got a good stash for December building up...TFS & Hugs.

  11. Three lovely cards, Christine. The first has such lovely holly die cuts and a fabulous EF background. I like the image/sentiment too, of course.

The second is a beautiful image. Those bunnies and greenery are so pretty. Kraft was a great colour choice with this.

The third is quite elegant. The image is striking and a lovely verse.

  19. Hi Christine
Gosh, am I that far behind?
Terrific trio Nursey H. The first one looks like one of those ornate calligraphied books (more your era than mine though lol!!!)
Cows, now rabbits. Think you should re-name home "Harrop's Farm".
