Paper Piecing at IAAS

Good morning and I hope this finds you well.

My post today is to showcase my paper pieced card for International Art and Soul.

My Card

Recipe
7" x 5" base card - ivory pearlescent card
quilt die - cheap die from China
papers - Christmas papers
silk flower from stash

I diecut the die three times in different papers - I used Christmas papers (I think from LOTV) although they don't really look Christmas-sy. Then came the fiddly fun part of putting it altogether and gluing the pieces.  It means I can now do another two cards in a different pattern.

We are a Just For Fun Challenge Blog but we would love you to pop over to the blog and check out what my DT sisters have made. I think we all had fun with this.

Take care and see you again soon.

I have a similar die I won on Mary H candy on her blog and completely forgot about it so thanks for the reminder.
    Love the papers used also.

  5. This is such a lovely die and it has made up into such a pretty card. I like the colours you chose and best of all line the idea that you can now make three cards in total with your excess cut pieces...YAY!!!
