Christmas Flowers for CCC

Good morning and hope you are all well.  It's time for me to show the cards I have made for the Christmas Card Club.  I missed the  last challenge because I was away on holiday so I will need to catch up on that one , which was Rachel's choice of reindeer.  Kate is our host this time and she wanted to see Christmas flowers.

Recipe
base card made using Go Kreate Frilly dies # 10
red and white card - Rymans
Snowflake lattice e/f - Sue Wilson
Joy die - Sue Wilson
poinsettia dies - Britannia
 Card # 2

  Card # 3

These two cards are very simple. The pink one has a border of pretty flowers across the top while the red one has side borders of roses. I am determined to use that Hunkydory Festive Poetry book.  I just layered the image and then added Tonic Nuvo drops and a small poinsettia die from Marianne Creations.

I said that we were on holiday and unfortunately the weather was dire - rain every day!.  It didn't stop us going out everyday but we were unable to do some of the things that we had planned.  We had a beautiful cottage in Powys so at least we very comfortable when we were inside.

But I think the weather was even worse here.  We got home to find there had been a really bad storm which brought down an enormous ash tree at the bottom of our land. Fortunately it fell to the right, rather than into the road, but it damaged our farmer neighbour's fence so as well as sorting out the tree John had to sort out the fence.  Mind you the fence was in an appalling state anyway. He doesn't exactly spend money on decent fencing - some of it is old pallet wood and bits of other rubbishy stuff, including pieces of old rusted metal.  We do have two log burners so it means we will have lots of wood when it has had time to season.

Well that's it from me.

Take care and happy crafting.

A gorgeous set of cards Christine, your Christmas box must be quite full by now, well done. Shame about the weather for your holiday but that's the great British weather for you, very unpredictable, hopefully you enjoyed the change of scenery and break from your normal routine. xx

Three stunning cards but oh my the middle one caught my eye the most. I love the colours. We have fencing being replaced later today. Now that the old shed is down we can get to the section to the side of it . Been up for 37yrs so has stood the test of time. Probably because the shed( which was in a sorry state ) was protecting it from the weather. Hugs Mrs A.
