Another Easel Card

Good morning friends,

I have another easel card to show today. Pink - again!!!!! I know this will be okay with Jenny at least!!

The open easel card

Apart from the white cardstock for the basic card, which is from my stash, everything else on the card is from The Confetti Collection at Craftwork Cards. As you know I have posted two cards already using this collection because I really love it.  But alas! once I run out then that's it because they don't do it now. At least the papers and flowers are no longer available but last time I checked the website they still had some  of the doileys. Unfortunately, so do I - I still have quite a few of those! Isn't that typical?

I used two different papers, one on the top and the other on the base. A large scalloped doily circle formed the easel and I embellished it with different die cut flowers from the same collection. I used a gold sentiment circle to form the centre of the large flower and then finished it off with candi. I rounded off all the corners of the card to tie in with that lovely scalloped circle. It was a very easy card but looks pretty and effective in "marshmallow, latte and icecream" - doesn't that sound so much nicer than pink, taupe and ivory?

Well I hope you all have a good weekend.

Love from Christine xx

Thank you for visiting and for all the comments you leave. I really do appreciate each and everyone of them.

Hi Christine! This is a lovely, feminine card, I do love easel cards and your layout is gorgeous..the names of the colours? Brilliant, I love the names they come up with, but it works, like you say, so much better than their actual names, lol :) happy weekend, Carole Z X

Hi Christine,
you new you were on a winner with me as it was pink. No seriously, fantastic creation love everything about it, and description of the colours makes you want to eat it. Fabulous design. Your cards remind me of classical music, because they always looks so lovely and classical. Something you would buy in a very upmarket shop.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

All of your cards are beautiful. I must say I love these easel draw cards. I made one myself and they just look unique and very versatile where you can even put gifts inside the draw. I love this easel card too. You have so much talent and all your creations are very good. Thank you for your kind comments in my blog. Hugs. Sharon xxx
