Having made a couple of cards with my Spellbinders Diamond Strips and Accents I thought I would re-visit my lacé dies and see just how easy, or otherwise, it was. It's a few years since I used them. Oh my goodness, what a kerfuffle! (Is that a word?) I chose a lovely double sided pearlescent cardstock in contrasting shades of pink. The card is so nice that I proceeded with great caution because I didn't want to ruin it. Well as you can see, I didn't ruin it, but because I was being so careful it took me ages! Now compare that to the speed of whizzing a die through the Grand Calibur - no comparison!!! I think I have proved the point to myself and will be giving the real lacé a miss in future!

Well that's all for now. Have a good day.

Hi Christine, I know this took an age to make but the card looks so simple, you don't need more, even with the wonky bit it is lovely.

Good Morning Christine, Beautiful card, I admire your perseverance. I do so agree with your father-in-law ref comment left. I also find florist tape very useful and have a selection of colours. xx Flora

I've just giggled at your kerfuffle Christine - I love that word!! I know what you mean about them though - you don't realise just how time consuming they are. Mind you the effect when using this type of card is amazing. You card is very chic and elegant.
