Definitely No Fuss

Hello friends! I decided to make another very quick card - and this one can surely be described as "no fuss". It is my sister's wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks so I will send whichever card is left to her.  It will save me making another.  Although she may not appreciate the real simplicity of this one so I will probably make another if that is the case.

My Card.

This is actually just a 4 x 6 "" card.  I ran a piece of card through SB Dainty Dots folder leaving an inch free and then embossed a line each side of the space.  The heart is a Nellie Snellen die.  The sentiment is another of my rub ons.  As simple as that.

Well John arrived home safely at 1 am this morning.  I had gone to bed because I had no idea what time he would get home, but obviously woke up when I heard the car.  So here am I -  pleased to see him but you know what it is like when you have been woken up.  And here is John - despite having climbed a mountain earlier in the day and then driving 450 miles home he is all animated and talkative!!!  Just what I didn't need! Mind you he is still spark out in bed at the moment and I guess he won't be fit for much today!! Lol!

Today it really overcast and cool and it did rain a little in the night - I know 'cause I was there and awake!! ha ha!

Hope you all enjoy your day.

Love and hugs from Christine xx

Clean, simple and beautiful!!!
Love the stories you are telling about you and John: they make me smile!
After one heavy breakout of rain for half an hour the day before yesterday, it's still hot over here. Well after years of bad summers we should not complain I think.
Have a nice day,
Lia xx

Lovely card Christine. I love the CAS look. Your card has reminded me that I have this heart die and haven't used it in such a long time. Time to get it out.

CAS suits you, Christine! Beautiful card. Sounds like John had a great time, and perhaps a day in bed is what he needs....and you can craft on! Cloudy day so far...hope it clears soon.

This is a real CAS beauty Christine! Love everything about it. Glad to hear he is home safe and it sounds like you are going to need an early night tonight - I get ever so grumpy if my sleep is disturbed! Have a good day Karen x

Hi Christine,
love the style of this card. The embossing is really lovely, and that heart die is superb. I need to buy a heart die one day, and will be looking for this one when I do.
So glad John is back from his mountain climbing safe and sound.
It's just great to have them back home after they have been away.
Have a wonderful crafty evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Christine,
As you say, a simplistic card but absolutely lovely, it says it all, sometimes as they say 'less is more' as in this case.
I'm sure your sister will love it too. Dee x
