Special Day

Hello everybody on this cold, wet and miserable day.  Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember September being this cold in the past!  And such dreadful weather for the first three days of the Tour of Britain cycle race!  Ah well, such is life.  John  had a couple of hospital appointments yesterday which always seem to take up the entire day with all the travelling etc.  Anyway I managed to make a card this morning.

My Card

Click on image to enlarge picture

I used a shaped card from Craftwork Cards and covered it with one of the papers from First Editions "Spring Feast."  In fact all the papers are from the same pad.  I used the smallest circle from SB Grand Decorative Circles One to cut the peachy circle and then a green paper with SB Petite Scalloped Circles Large to mat the topper, which is a Wee image from Hobby House.  The flowers are from WOC and the leaves are Cheery Lynn Wreath Strip. The little bow was from a snippet of ribbon and the sentiment is  Craftwork Cards Sparkle Sentiments which I cut into  a double fish tail and inked with green ink.  These toppers from Hobby House make really quick cards and there are some great ones to choose from. I have just noticed that the sentiment banner has slipped so I will have to re-align it.

Well that's all from me today. Hope you are all keeping well and warm.
