Krafty Christmas

Hello again.  Nice to have you visit today. Oh my goodness it is so cold this morning. I don't like to see ice on the windscreen this early!! Brrr!

Well time is marching on and I still have lots of Christmas cards to make so I decided to try  some very quick ones.

My Card

Click on image to enlarge picture

This is a 5 x 7 inch Kraft card made from Papermania card stock. I used a piece of LOTV  Krafty Christmas paper pad and a piece from "Handmade Holiday " by Simple Stories with some sticky ribbon to cover the join. I then just added a Marianne Creatables Swedish snowflake, and  Memory Box Frosty Border, both of which were sitting in my die cuts drawer.  The tree die cuts have been hanging around for about 9 or 10 years. I bought them from Lakeland so that my mum could make some simple Christmas cards at the time. A few pearls from Hobby House finished it off.

That is one extremely quick card, so there will definitely more to come, in a similar vein. I had never used kraft card until earlier this year when one of the challenges in our little Christmas Card Club was to use kraft card. I really struggled with it then, but in fact now I quite like it, so thanks to Clare for pushing me in this direction!

Hope this finds everybody well. Keep warm if it is cold where you are.

hier schijnt het zonnetje lekker en het is 9 graden dus ook niet echt warm
Je heb weer een mooie kaart gemaakt soms is het wel eens fijn een makkelijk kaart te maken
Fijne dag

Hi Christine
Super card. Never used kraft card but this gem has tempted me to try it.
Lovely and sunny here at the minute, have even got washing on the line (probably for the last time this year unless we have a sudden heatwave lol)
Have a great day.

Morning Christine,

This is a lovely card, loving the papers and I like the use of the calender on the front too.Papers all work so well together, beautiful.

Its been cold here last couple of days but we have had sunshine with it so that's a bonus, never had the storm in this part of Essex that they predicted so that's an even bigger bonus lol! Just cleared all the condensation from my windows before it drips everywhere lol! Have a good day.

Love & Hugs

Gorgeous Christmas card Christine, I love kraft although don't use it as often as I should. I remember those trees - had them in green with gold foiling on them too x

Hi Christine - this is lovely, and it looks as if a lot of work has gone into a 'quick' card. I love the kraft look and the spot of red is so right - especially the bling.

Hope you are both well.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

Wow Christine I had to go back and read what you said to see if I'd really read the word 'quick'! This is a great card. I love the calendar tab on it. Just fab!
