Easter Chicks or Rabbits at IAAS

Good morning.  Time for another challenge at International Art and Soul and the theme is Easter Chicks or Rabbits.

My Card

I cut back the front of a 6" square card and matted the front and inside with lemon cardsyock and an embossed card with Spellbinders Dainty Dots.

The image is from Greeting Cards Factory Deluxe and matted with the same lemon card. I liked the freshness of the spring flowers and the lemon and white cardstock. A cute rabbit family and look great on a card - not so great when they eat my bedding plants 😀

Why not pop over to the blog and see what the rest of the DT have made for Easter?

Have a good day.

Easter Card

Good morning.  I don't usually do Easter cards and I have only one or two LOTV toppers which I think somebody must have given me.  However, I have decided to send my sister a card as often as I can, hopefully weekly, because she lives alone since her husband died suddenly just over a year ago. I think the isolating might start to get to her soon and hopefully this may help. I thought perhaps she would not really appreciate cute bunnies!

My Card

Recipe
6" white base card
pale yellow cardstock - Lime Tree Crafts
Oakham Lattice dies - JND
Tatty Daisy dies - JND
ribbon from stash
Nuvo drops - Tonic Studios

I think the Oakham might well be my favourite die of all time.  The card makes itself and comes together so quickly that it is ideal for a speedy make.  I added some extra glitter to the Nuvodrops flower centres and that was it.

Well that's it for today.

Take care.

Easter

Good  morning and here I am again, this time with an Easter card. I don't do Easter cards; in fact I don't do cards for Valentine or Halloween either.  However, this is my DT card for International Art and Soul and the remit was to make an Easter card.

Please scroll down to previous post if you are looking for my Christmas Card Club card.

My Card

Recipe
7" x 5" base card
linen card stock
Helz Cuppleditch images

I used the same Helz Cuppleditch digi images as I did the other day for my Spring card. I fussy cut the Easter eggs from one of the papers.   A very simple card but it looks pretty.  I'll probably send it to my nephew's children now I've got it.

Please pop over to the blog to see what the cards and projects from the rest of the team.

Take care and enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Happy Easter at MAWTT

Good morning.   Well haven't we had a mixed bag of weather of late? We went to Evesham yesterday and the River Avon had burst it's banks. It was quite a sight to see the picnic tables and the benches all in the water and the ducks and Canada geese swimming almost at street level.

Time for another challenge at MAWTT.  Carole is hosting this challenge and she wants to see your Easter creations.

My Card

Recipe
6" square base card
lemon backing paper - Limetree Crafts
patterned cardstock - "Spring Drop" First Edition
image - Pink Gem
Austrian Collection (Salzburg) dies -Creative Expressions
purple card - Crafters Companion
sentiment - computer generated

Such a sweet image of this little bunny with his Easter egg. I used these dies because they seemed to resemble Easter eggs and fit the theme so well. I don't generally make Easter cards but this year I have made three for some reason.

Please pop over to the blog and check out what the rest of the DT have produced and hopefully you will decide to join us.

Take care.
