Christmas Card Challenge # 1 - very late!!

Belated Happy New Year to everybody!   I cannot believe that it is already January 7th and this is the first time I have been on Blogger since before Christmas!  Wow.  This card was due last Sunday but foe some reason I thought it was next weekend.  Since we had visitors all weekend it was not possible to get anything done.   This time it was Carol's choice and she choose - CAS using red, green and white.  Now that was lucky because it made it a very quick card to make.

My Card

Recipe
A6 white base card
Green and red card from stash
Green tree die cuts - very ancient pieces from stash, at least 10 years old!
SB Dainty Dots embossing folder.

Well now that things seem to be getting back to normal again (hopefully) I shall get back to blogging again and will be visiting your blogs later.

Thanks for joining me with the first challenge of the year - no need to apologise Christine...I think January sneaks up on us far too quickly after Christmas! Love your card, it's so good to use up that old stash we all have tucked away. Carol x

Happy New Year Christine.
A lovely card and only a tad late so no worries. I can't believe that the first week of January has gone either - time seems to be flying by.
I have lots of old stash that need using up too, perhaps I'll add that one to my resolutions list too :)

Happy New Year on this 1st CC of 2015, and what a great interpretation of Carol's fun challenge. Love that bright red & green border with those pretty embossed trees. Very stylish and I liked the 'modern' look that you achieved with this treatment. Well worth waiting for. I, for one, am happy to have life back to what is 'normal' in our house. Holidays are fun to anticipate, but it's always good to get them over with too. (Wonder if that is an age thing????Hmmm). TFS & Hugs
