In The Garden for MAWTT

Goos morning to you all and hope this finds you well.  This should have been posted yesterday for MAWTT so I'm a day late unfortunately.   To be perfectly honest I totally forgot about it and that is something I have never done before since I started to blog.  I have already apologised to Zoe, our hostess for this challenge, and to Wendy, our leader.  The theme is "In the Garden" but mine is more like a garden patio!   Please pop over to the blog and see what the rest of the A Team have come up with.

My Card

Recipe
5" x 7" base card - white card from Rymans
green and violet card - Lime Tree Crafts
image - LOTV Art Pad "English Charm"
Noble pierced recatngles - Sue ilson
banner die - Joy Crafts
pearls from stash

A very quick and easy card to put together and it is going into the box for my sister.  I make her a stash of a variety of cards so that she always something to choose from when she needs something.

Had a good time at the NEC yesterday although it does seem to get smaller everytime and lots of the major players missing again..  I always prefer to attend on the first day because it is quieter, but yesterday was extremely quiet!  Great to have a really good catch up with Mrs Duck, and we set the world to rights.

Last night I was out with our WI group being a vandal!  We were "yarn bombing" the village green and had great fun.  John said if we got ourselves arrested he wouldn't bail me out ... lol!!  We obviously couldn't go out until late evening because we didn't want to be spotted and get caught in the act, but by 10:30 pm it was getting pretty chilly. It all looked pretty good in the dark but I can't wait to go out today and see it in daylight.  We also decorated the railings of the Primary School with knitted bunting and pom poms.  The school is not actually  right in the centre of the village but off a street backing ontothe fields, but we wanted to amuse the children when they arrived at school this morning.

Well, I hope youall have a good day whatever you have planned.

Morning Christine,
A lovely card, it's a pity that LOTV have stopped selling the art books, the images are so easy for a quick card.
Sounds like you had fun.

Hello Christine, love your pretty card, I too wish LOTV had kept their Art Pads, but maybe they will come up with something new to replace them.
I love the idea of the yarn bombing. If you get any photos, I love to see them. Something of the like took place here in Bonnie Scotland, I thing it was in the Border's area, obvioulsy catching on.
Pleased you had a good catch up with Ang and yes it would be good to have a meet up, I'm not sure where would be central for all though as my geography is pants, take care, Kate x

This is a lovely card Christine!
We don't know 'yarn bombing' and I can not imagine what is is.....If you have got some photos I could see what you have done!
Over here it's the same with Craftshows: always less stalls than the year before. I'm going in 2 weeks to Den Bosch (or officially; 's-Hertogenbosch) with our daughter Yvonne. It's just 15 kms from my house.
Have a great weeknd,
Lia xx

Hi Christine,
who would have thought of you as a vandal. Naughty, Naughty, but I bet you had a really good time.LOL.
We never did such things when I belonged to the WI years ago. LOL.

Super card for the MAWTT theme.
You can't beat a LOTV image, and it's such a pity they are doing away with those pads.
Great designing as always.
Sounds like the NEC is having problems, but then again it costs soooooooooooo! much to exhibit there before anyone can make a profit.
Love and biggest hugs from my house to yours.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Love your pretty card is gorgeous. Sounds like a great fun evening you must post some photos. I've always fancied going to the NEC but it sounds a bit like the GNPE that used to be at Harrogate they moved to York racecourse this year and very disappointing much samller and lots of the big companies not there and an awful lot of similar stalls. Never mind i did get together with my lovely follower Sue and enjoyed time with my craft group friend. Love and hugs Carole x

Hi Christine
I'm playing catch up again lol!
Nice save Mrs H. Your patio still qualifies as garden and such a pretty image so its all good for me.
It was year to catch up and its probably the first time I've come away from a craft show with money in my pocket lol!
Hope to see snaps of the "bombing"
