Candles for Christmas Card Club

Good morning on a bright but chilly morning. It's time for Rita's choice of card for this weeks CCC card. My card was made extremely quickly this morning so it is very simple. I looked at the wrong challenge and actually made a card for our next challenge instead of this one! Ah well, at least I am ready for the next one in two week's time.  Sorry Rita.

My Card

Unfortunately the picture is very poor. The dark red background is actually quite vibrant but looks drained on this photo. It is very sunny and was difficult to take a decent picture, but at least you get the idea.

I hope this finds you all well and coping during these strange and trying times.

Take care.

Finding it difficult to keep a reality check on what day it is with the World in such tumult . Your card is very classic and elegant. Love the richness . Not sunny here today . Overcast and very windy. Stay safe and well. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi chrisitine,
your card looks wonderful I bet it's such a pretty shade of red too.
Such a pity the camera lies at times.
Great sentiments too.
Hope all is okay at the Harrop Towers.
Love and special crafty virtual hugs. Jenny L.

Hi Christine at least you have one in hand now and this is just perfect for Rita's challenge. You did a great job if you had to make it quickly this morning. Keep safe and well Zoe x

While this candle themed Christmas card may have been made in a hurry, it is still lovely and will be well received!

Glad to hear that you have a bit of sun. We have rain at the moment. It has been here a couple of days and is expected for a few more. I managed to get out into the garden and get about 75% of the spring cleanup done and now I long for more sunny days so I can finnish.

This social distancing and never straying from home should grant us all fabulous gardens this year!

Lovely card, Christine. I do understand the problem with photographing in bad light - here in Scotland, I have to use a daylight lamp when taking photos of my cards. x
