Bunnies at International Art and Soul

Good morning. Time for another challenge at IAAS. The theme this time is Bunnies and I have chosen to make a Christmas Card because this image is so sweet. Although I can tell you I don't think they are sweet when they are eating my plants!! 😉😊

My Card

I used an image from my Greeting Card Factory Deluxe. The base card is 6" square and the gold card is Anne Marie Designs. I then just added  peel off greetings (remember them?) and a couple of pearls.

That's it from me today - two posts in one day is unheard of!

Take care.

More Stars and Stripes

Good morning.  I hope this finds you  well and enjoying some sunshine.

Jenny is hosting our challenge at MAWTT and she wants to see Star and Stripes.  My last card featuring stars and strips was a masculine card so this time I made it feminine.

My Card

This is a very simple flat card. I made the six inch square base card from Hunkydory Adorable Scorable card stock. I then added a pink and white striped mat from Anna Marie Designs card stock but I din't want it to show as a mat, just peek through the stars. Unfortunately I don't know where the die cut background is from.  I bought a pack of them, pre-cut, from a craft show some years ago and this is the first time I have opened the packet.   The pack also includes the centre star die cut. I just added some pink pearls and a rub on greeting (remember those?) to finish off a simple card.

Why not pop over to the blog and check out the DT's card? You might decide to join our challenge too.

Have a good day and I hope it includes some crafting.

Take care.

Anything Goes at Winter Wonderland

Good morning for my second day in a row!  I'm here with another DT post; this time for Winter Wonderland where the challenge is "Anything Goes".  Our sponsor this time is Pink Gem Designs.

My Card

Recipe
6" square base card
pink striped and spotted card stock - Anna-Marie Designs
Christmas pudding mice topper - Pink Gem
Holly Jolly corner die - Yvonne Creations
pearls from stash

This card front from Pink gem made for a very quick and easy card.  I just printed it out smaller and used it as a topper.  Complementary cardstock, corner die and pearls added - job done.

Hope everybody is well and getting ready for an enjoyable weekend. We woke up to snow and the white stuff is still falling. Hopefully it won't stay long but in these parts you never know!

My nephew started a new job earlier this week.  He had been with his previous company for 25 years so this was quite a major step, but one which he was ready to embrace. I wish him all the luck in the world.  My sister knew about the new job so I'm sure she will have been looking down on him, smiling and sending loving thoughts.

Why not pop across to the blog and check out what my teamies have come up with and perhaps join in the challenge.  We are a Just For Fun challenge but have some super banners for the winners.

Well that's all from me today.

Take care.

Ribbon, Lace or Twine for Winter Wonderland.

Good morning.  Today it is time for another challenge  at Winter Wonderland and it is the turn of the Snowflakes team.  I have the pleasant task of hosting this challenge and the theme makes it so easy.  So many of us like to use these particular embellishments on our cards so I am expecting to see lots of entries ... lol! Of course you can add all sorts of other embellishments but you must use lace, ribbon or twine to be eligible for the challenge.

We are sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and the prize on offer is a £10 voucher to spend instore

My nephew and his family came to stay with us for a few days last week so that was enjoyable for us all.  He has "inherited" my sister's Yorkshire terrier, Molly and it was nice to take some walks with her too.  Poor little thing is still quite unsettled. She was a town dog and has now become a country dog, because my nephew lives near Richmond in North Yorkshire. She is so used to walking mainly on pavement and it is taking some getting used to the fact that it mostly grass for her now. She certainly doesn't like wet grass!!!  She also checks and double checks them all the time;  she patrols though the bedrooms at night and if anybody gets up she follows them until they go back to bed.  She is definitely checking to make sure that nobody else disappears from her life now that her human "parents" have disappeared.  She is still a very loving little dog - but definitely a much sadder one now .  Hopefully things will improve when she gets more used to the new situation.  It is very early days for all of us.

Well, that's all for now.

Take care!

Get Creative Challenges - Monochrome Pink

Good morning dear friends and fellow bloggers.  I am here today for the 3rd day in a row!  All or nothing with me!  Get Creative Challenges are being sponsored by  QKR Stampede and I am using the image  Rose Label which is so pretty.  I decided to make a fairly CAS card.

My Card

Ingredients
5" x 7" card base
pink card for matting - Papermania
pink spotted card - Anna-Marie Designs
Rose Label Image - QPR - Here
Sentiment - Computer generated
Coloured with Promarkers

This really was so simple.  I computer generated the sentiment before I printed the image.  After colouring with Promarkers I fussy cut it and added it to the card front.  Useful for many occasions I think - and flat for posting.

It would be wonderful if you could join us in our Pink Monochrome challenge this time.

Hope you are all feeling fit and well.
