12 Months of Christmas LinkUp Winter Sports

Good morning. This morning I am showing my DT card for The 12 Months of Christmas LinkUp challenge. As always the challenge is Anything Goes with the option of following the twist.  This month the twist is Winter Sports. The Sleigh Belles team show their cards at the beginning of the month and mid month there will be cards from the Merry MAidens.

My Card

I think the image might be from Ruth Morehead but I am really not certain because it has been in my digi image folder from long before I started blogging at time when I didn't make a note of this sort of thing.  (Another name that is hovering in my mind is Sylvia Zet.) If you know different please let me know. The background paper is one from DDDoodles. As the image is a png. I just superimposed it onto the backing paper and it looks very effective.  A little glitter to the fur and one very quick Christmas card.

Hope you are all well.

Take care.

Cheers! 12 Months of Christmas LinkUp

A new challenge at 12MoC Link Up.  The Sleigh Belles are posting our cards today and then mid month it will be the turn of the Merry Maidens.  The theme is Cheers! and our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, then you need to feature a BEVERAGE you might drink during the HOLIDAYS as the focus of your card. For ex., eggnog, mulled wine, hot toddy, wassail, hot buttered rum, brandy Alexander, Christmas punch, hot cocoa, etc.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $12 gift certificate from this month's sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Cheers! Christmas Edition

My Card

It uses the image  Snowman Cocoa from our sponsor Bugaboo

and also two papers from DDDoodles Geometric Man

Why not pop over to the blog and check out the cards from the other Sleigh belles and join in our challenge.  It's a great way to get a head start on your festive cards so you don't have a mad panic at the end of the year.

Take care and have a good day.

Colour Combo Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up - Optional Twist Colour Combo

Good morning.  The beginning of the month means a new challenge for us at the The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up and I am a little late.  Slapped wrist! As usual we have an optional twist to our challenge and that is to use three of the colours in the Colour Palette shown below.

My Card

7" x 5" base card using papers from Delicious Doodles to match the colour combo chart.
The image is "Joy 1"  which is one of two images provided from Pattie's Creations.

You don't need to follow the twist in order to win a prize.  In our unusual challenge just by entering you have the chance to win one of the papers that the DT have used in their cards. The Sleigh Belles have posted their cards now and there will be more inspiration from the Merry Maidens on October 15th.

Why not pop over to the blog and check out the full rules of the challenge and see the other cards.

Take care.

Gifts, Ribbons and Bows at Christmas Card Club

Good morning to you all. Well the weather is definitely autumnal now although the sun is shining albeit with a very chilly breeze.

It's time for another card for our Christmas Card Club and this time Zoe chose the theme.

Card #1

This uses an image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps and is called Elliot and Elvis. The backing paper is from Delicious Doodles and it is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment die is Sue Wilson and I just mounted it onto a piece of white card to make it stand out against the busy background.

Card # 2

 Card # 2

This one uses a topper from LOTV.  I still have a few toppers which come to light every now and then and this one was perfect for the challenge. The sentiment stamp is from Little Claire and I have used Spellbinders dies throughout.  The gorgeous striped ribbon is from the local haberdashers and I have it in various colours.

I'm up to my eyes in crafting stuff for our WI members. Just when we thought we were going to be able to re-start our meetings the regulations changed again so that is no longer possible. But we all need to do the best we can to keep this virus under control and if this is what it takes then so be it. I make a card and we include a gift for each missed meeting.  We are going to have to put our thinking caps on and try to work out things which are not too expensive since it might be many months yet before we can get together - and we are not able to raise any funds either so it is a case of being careful and following the rules of what we can and can't do! 😉😊

Well take care and enjoy your weekend.  I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for International Art and Soul.

Blooming Botanicals at 12 MoC Link Up

Good morning.  Another Christmas card today, this time for the 12 Months Of Christmas Link Up.
Our sponsor is Beccy's Place.

My Card

 Recipe
6" square base card
Image - Cardinal and Holly - freebie from Beccy's Place
Paper - Holly Boughs  DDDoodles
Sentiment die - Sue Wilson

I kept my card CAS by adding the image to the backing paper  digitally, and also adding a digital border. After attaching this to the card base I just added the sentiment die so it is still flat for posting.

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features any type of Christmas FLOWER or GREENERY such as pine boughs, poinsettias, holly and berries, Christmas Cactus, wreaths, etc.  Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00AU gift voucher from this month's sponsor, Beccy's Place. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Christmas Botanicals.

Head on over to the blog and add your card to the challenge. This is a good opportunity to get ahead with your stash of Christmas cards.

Take care and happy crafting.

An Old Fashioned Christmas

Goo morning.  It is time for the mid month challenge from the Merry Maidens in the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  I am actually one of the Sleigh Belles team and we post on the first of the month, but due to circumstance I wasn't able to post at that point so I have joined in with the Merry Maidens.

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features VINTAGE items whether in your choice of image, papers, embellishments or all three. However, you don't have to follow the vintage twist to be in with a chance to win a prize from Lunagirl, our sponsor.

My Card

I love how the colours marry up so beautifully. If you go over to the blog you will see the rules of the challenge and also get some inspiration from my teamies.

Take care, and happy crafting.

The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up: Feature a Creature

Good morning and I hope this finds you all well. A couple of months ago I was approached by Lisa from "The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up Blog" asking if I would be interested in becoming one of her DT members. Since my favourite cards to make are Christmas  cards of course I jumped at the chance! I am so excited today to be posting my very first DT card.

Our challenges start on the 1st of the month with cards by the Sleigh Belles team (which now includes me) followed by a reminder mid month from the Merry Maidens team.  There is an optional twist to the challenge if you would like to follow it, but mainly the idea is somewhere for you to link up all your Christmas cards throughout the year.   The twist for this month's challenge is "Feature a Creature" so in addition to your card being Christmas themed you can choose to use any sort of animal, whether  wild or domestic, as the focal point of your card if you so wish. If you do follow the twist there is a chance you could win this month's featured paper pack. How easy is that?

We are sponsored this month by

My Card

Recipe
7" x 5" base card - Rymans
red card stock- Rymans

I really hope you decide to take part in the challenge.  If you have not been over to the blog you will be pleasantly surprised at being able to earn a free paper each month  just for entering, and also the chance to win a $9 gift certificate from our sponsor. So what are you waiting for?

Take care and happy crafting.
