Use Plaid for 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

Hi.  Well it's time for another challenge at the 12 Months of Christmas. The Sleigh Belles post their creations on the first of the month and then mid month the Merry Maidens will be here with some more inspiration for you.

My Card

 Recipe
6" square white base card
 Image - Ike's Art
Joy die - First Edition
Backing Paper - Freebie from Decosses's Dynamite

I added a png. image directly to the green plaid digital paper, copied and pasted it three times and then rotated it so that it formed corner borders all round before colouring with Promarkers.  I printed the images again, fussy cut them and added them with foam pads. Tonic Nuvo Drops and red pearls finished this simple card.

There is an optional twist to the challenge if you would like to follow it, but mainly the idea is somewhere for you to link up all your Christmas cards throughout the year.  The twist for this month's challenge is to use plaid. If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, use PLAID papers prominently in your card design. While you can also use other types of papers for accent pieces, make sure that plaid features in a big way.   Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher to the Ike's Art store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Multi-Coloured Plaids.

Pop over to the blog and check out the cards from the other Sleigh Belles and maybe you will be inspired to join in the challenge.

Take care and happy crafting.

Red and Green for Winter Wonderland

Good morning.  Hope this finds you all well. Today it is time to post my DT card for  Winter Wonderland.  The challenge, as chosen by Helen, is to use red and green.  Now how simple can that be when you are making Christmas cards?

Our sponsor this month is Dr Digi's House of Stamps and we have been able to use some really fun images.

My Card

Recipe
6" square easel card base - cardstock Hobbycraft
patterned papers - Decosses's Dynamite
sentiment die - First Edition
coloured  with Promarkers

I love this image; it really makes me smile. Why not pop over to the blog to see what the rest of the team have come up with? We would love you to join in the challenge but please remember we are a Christmas challenge only.

Well this is a very quick post from me because I have a very busy day ahead. Have a great weekend everybody.

Take care and happy crafting!

Gingerbread for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

Good morning. I hope you are all doing okay. It's time for my second DT post for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place.

My Card

Recipe
6"  kraft base card - from Hobbycraft card stock
papers - Peppermint Diagonals "12 Days Of Christmas 2018"
Cookie Group - from Gingerbread Cookies
(both papers - Decosses Dynamite)
image and sentiment - Beccy's Place  "Sugar and Spice " set
Christmas die - First Edition
Promarkers to colour

As you can see I have gone with another zed fold card.  It just seemed to fit with the image of my gingerbread men marching across the card.

There is an optional twist to the challenge if you would like to follow it, but mainly the idea is somewhere for you to link up all your Christmas cards throughout the year.  The twist for this month's challenge is to use some form of a gingerbread image eg gingerbread house, gingerbread men or women, or general gingerbread cookies, etc.  as the main image for your card. Keep in mind though that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, or for a chance to win a $10 AU gift voucher from Beccy's Place.

Why not pop across to the blog and check out what the other Sleigh Belles have made with their images?  Maybe it will inspire you to create something too and get ahead with your Christmas cards.

Well that's it from me today.  I hope you all have a great weekend.

Take care and happy crafting .

Cosy and Cute for the Christmas Card Club

Good morning.  Here I am a day early with my card for the Christmas Card Club. Zoe has chosen our theme.  If we are unable to make a card for a particular theme we now have the option of Anything Goes.  I always follow the theme because, for me, I like the challenge of doing something I may be unfamiliar with.  My cards today are all cute but not so much cosy, so I hope Zoe is happy with that.
