Snow men for Christmas Card Club

Good morning and many apologies to Margaret, who chose the challenge this time.  I totally forgot about it!! I cannot believe I did this! Anyway, I've finally managed a couple of cards.

Card # 1

This is a 6" square red base card.  The two patterned pieces of card stock are very old pieces left over from Craftwork Cards many years ago.  The silver foiling on them is gorgeous. I cannot remember the company that this digi image is from I'm afraid.

Card # 2

This topper is also from my Christmas folder which I have had a long time. I never used to keep a note of names etc until I started blogging, so these are very old ones .

Once again apologies to Margaret and my friends in the Christmas Card Club.

Christmas Card Club - Santa

Good  morning. Another fortnight has gone by so it is time to show my card for Kate's theme of Santa. I really love these vintage Santa's so that is what I have gone with.

My Card

This is a 5" x 7" kraft base card and uses an image from my Greeting Card Factory. It was matted onto kraft and green card before mounting onto the base card. The sentiment is from Sue Wilson and the trees are Finlay's Trees from John Next Door.

I'm sorry for such a quick post but I hope it finds you all well.

Take care.

Colour Combo Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up - Optional Twist Colour Combo

Good morning.  The beginning of the month means a new challenge for us at the The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up and I am a little late.  Slapped wrist! As usual we have an optional twist to our challenge and that is to use three of the colours in the Colour Palette shown below.

My Card

7" x 5" base card using papers from Delicious Doodles to match the colour combo chart.
The image is "Joy 1"  which is one of two images provided from Pattie's Creations.

You don't need to follow the twist in order to win a prize.  In our unusual challenge just by entering you have the chance to win one of the papers that the DT have used in their cards. The Sleigh Belles have posted their cards now and there will be more inspiration from the Merry Maidens on October 15th.

Why not pop over to the blog and check out the full rules of the challenge and see the other cards.

Take care.

Penguins at Winter Wonderland

Good morning.  It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland. The theme is Penguins and our sponsor is Twinkle Lane Designs

My Card

This is a 5" x 7"green  card from Card Craft UK and used in landscape. I matted a scrap of striped paper onto some burgundy card stock.  The sponsor's  image is Playful Penguins and coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment die is from Sue Wilson and I matted it onto some white card to allow it stand out against the busy striped background. The trees are John Next Door Finlay's Trees.

I hope you can find time to pop over to   the blog and check out the cards from the rest of the DT and maybe you will decide to join in the challenge.  Please remember, however, that we are a Christmas/Winter blog only.

Take care and enjoy your day.

Animals or Birds at MAWTT

Good morning. It's time for our next challenge at MAWTT and as you can see the theme is animals or birds.

My card is for a friend I haven't seen for some time and since they are dairy farmers I'm sure it will be appreciated.

My Card

My base card is made from navy linen card stock  and the image matted an layered onto it.  The sentiment has been computer generated.  I have been so busy trying to get my WI crafting projects sorted that I haven't had a great deal of time for my own work. It was a case of either make a very simple card or miss this challenge; obviously I didn't want to do that so simple it is.

Please pop over to the blog and see what my teamies have made for the challenge.

Take care whatever it is you will be doing today.
