Sweet Treats at Christmas Card Club

 These two weeks pass so quickly and it's time for another challenge. This time it is Sweet Treats so I have gone with cocoa and candy canes.

My Card

I used an LOTV paper as background and matted the gnome onto red cardstock. I am keeping the majority of my  cards flat except for special friends and family.

I missed the last challenge which was Christmas Bells so I have  made a card for that challenge too.

This uses an image from Decosse's Delicious Doodles and, again, kept it very simple and flat.

Easter Chicks or Rabbits at IAAS

 Good morning.  Time for another challenge at International Art and Soul and the theme is Easter Chicks or Rabbits.

My Card

I cut back the front of a 6" square card and matted the front and inside with lemon cardsyock and an embossed card with Spellbinders Dainty Dots.

The image is from Greeting Cards Factory Deluxe and matted with the same lemon card. I liked the freshness of the spring flowers and the lemon and white cardstock. A cute rabbit family and look great on a card - not so great when they eat my bedding plants 😀

Christmas Presents at Winter Wonderland

 Good morning. It is time for a new challenge at the Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog.

My Card

The background is a paper from my digi paper file and I printed the png. image directly to the paper I have had this paper for many, many years. Unfortunately before I started my blog journey I only downloaded the image and did not add where it came from.  Obviously that all changed when I started my blog but that doesn't help at the moment.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then added it to a 6 " square base card.

Things That Fly for 12 MoC LinkUp

Good morning and it's time for a new challenge at the 12 Months of Christmas LinkUp. We are an Anything Goes challenge but it must be a card and it must Christmas or winter celebration. However, every month we add a twist to our challenge and this month the twist is "Things that fly". If you want to follow the optional twist you still have lots of choice - think Angels, Christmas Fairies, Winter Birds or Santa's Flying Reindeer. My Card

 

This a 6" square base card matted with navy cardstock and I added some Stickles for snow. The Santa and reindeer die is from Sue Wilson and the house and trees die is Memory Box, as are the navy blue trees. I added lots of glitter to give a snowy appearance.

I am on a mission to use some older dies.  We seem to focus on all the latest ones and forget there are some fabulous ones in our stash.

Friendship at MAWTT

 Good morning and I hope this finds you well. It's time for another challenge at MAWTT and the theme this month is friendship.

My Card

I have been going back and trying to use up some old stash and old dies.The papers and digi image are also very old. They are from Coosty Creations. The sentiment stamp is Kaisercraft . I used Spellbinder Labels 18 and Large ovals.  The corner dies were actually in my box of diecuts and I think they are Cheery Lynn. I coloured the image with Promarkers.
