Christmas Birds at Winter Wonderland

Good morning and it's time for another challenge at Winter Wonderland.  The theme this month is Christmas Birds and we are sponsored by Imagine That Digi Stamps.

My Card

I have used Flamingo Christmas from our sponsor. I had eye surgery a month ago and I am still struggling a wee bit but this set has a precoloured images as well as papers and sentiments so it made it very simple to make a card. I used an image and paper but not the sentiment.

Please pop over to the blog and check out what my team mates have made and you may be inspired to join in the challenge.

Take care and have a good day.

The 12 MoC LinkUp Merry Christmouse

Good morning. It's time for a new challenge at 12 Months of Christmas LinkUp where you can win a free paper simply by entering. However, if you follow the optional twist, which this month is to use a mouse or mice, on your card, then you have the chance to win two images from our sponsor Hetty Clare.

My Card

I have used an image from our sponsor called Christmouse Wishes. These little mice are so cute. The backing paper is from DD Doodles.

Why not pop over to the blog where you will find some inspiration from the Sleigh Belles and on June 15th there will be more to inspire you from the Merry Maidens? This is a great way to forge ahead with your Christmas cards so you didn't end up panicking at the end of the year.

Take care and have a good day.

Art Deco at Moving Along With The Times

Good morning and I hope you all had a good Bank Holiday weekend if you are in the UK. It is time for a new challenge at MAWTT and the theme, chosen by Ang, is Art Deco.

My Card

This Hunkydory image is one of my favourites and sentiment is great. This is from a Hunkydory book and I have already used it three times and I think there is one remaining. I have made it into a 7" square card. The colours of her gown are gorgeous so I picked out the teal to mat and layer in  pearlescent and glitter card. I think the lavender pearlescent card toned nicely and so I just added the feather and bow.

Please pop across to the blog and see what my team mates have made for this challenge.  They are all super.

Take care.

Winter Scene for Christmas Card Club

I'm rather late with my post and since it was my turn to choose the theme I feel rather guilty.  However, I do have a reason in that three weeks ago I had eye surgery and I'm still not quite up to scratch yet so crafting is a struggle but I didn't want to miss this challenge.

 Card # 1

Card # 2

These were made using a couple of the pages from a Die Cut book from The Works called "Winter Feelings".I bought a couple of these books a few years ago and they are ideal for times like this. It was very easy to put the cards together because the elements simply pop out of the page. These books were terrific value since they contain twelve different pages for £3 meaning all you need to add is the base card.

Hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to some drier weather here in the UK.  I think we have had enough rain now.

Take care.

Winter Sports for Winter Wonderland

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland.  The theme, chosen by Stacey, is Winter Sports and our sponsor is All Dressed Up.

My Card

I used All Dressed Up Little Skater  digi  and coloured with Promarkers.  The die cut was cut from pink glitter card.     Please pop across to the blog and check out the cards from the rest of the DT.

Take care and have a good weekend.

Bouquet of Flowers at MAWTT

Good  morning and it's time for a new challenge at MAWTT. The theme has been chosen by Jenny and she wants to see bouquets of flowers. Who doesn't like to see flowers?

The sun is shining and looks like the start of a fine weekend.

My Card

This card looks quite washed but in real life it is not quite this pale.I used two small toppers from a Hunkydory pack which was a freebie I think from one of the craft shows I attended some years ago. I matted the toppers and card with silver mirrror card and diecut the Crafter's Companion butterflies from the same silver cards.

Please pop over to the blog and check out the cards made by the rest of the DT.

Take care and have a good weekend.
