Anything But a Card at MAWTT

Good morning.  It is very wet here and I am on my way out very soon for any last minute shopping etc.

This is our final challenge for 2019 at Moving Along With The Times - but we will be back in the new year with a couple of changes.

My Project

Recipe
pillar candle - Asda
rubber stamp - Little Ivy from LOTV
sentiment stamp -from stash
border die - Our Daily Bread (now Divinity Designs)
red poinsettias- from stash
glass candle dish - Asda

I haven't made one of these candles for some years and I quite enjoyed it.  If I get chance  over the next few days I 'll do another one - finding the time will be the problem!!

Anyway, pop across to the bog and see what my teamies have come up with.

Take care and enjoy your day.

IAAS Final Post for 2019

Good morning.  Today is our final challenge for 2019 at IAAS and it is "Anything But a Card".  This challenge will actually last for four weeks which means the DT can enjoy a break over Christmas, but we will be back in the New Year.

My Project

This is a very large bucket type bag measuring 12" tall x 7" wide and the base is 7" x 4". It closes with a velcro dot. You can get a very large gift in here - or lots of little ones. To look at you really wouldn't think it was made from cardstock,. The card stock is from a pad from The Works and only cost £3 so very good value for money. I made this from a tutorial on Mixed Up Crafts and I really love it.  I think I will be hard pressed to pass this on to somebody when the time comes.

These are the sort of projects I used to make for my sister Jeanie because I knew she would love and appreciate them as I did.  She really was my number one fan! Just another reason why I miss her so much.

Why not pop over to the blog and check out the projects from the rest of the DT.  I know you won't be disappointed.

Well that's all from me. I hope you are getting on well with your cards and gifts.  I have my cards to write and a few special ones to make and just a couple of gifts to buy but we are off to do the last minute Christmas shopping on Tuesday and then if I have missed anything it will be too late ... lol! I actually thought I had finished but we will be visiting my nephew and his family on Boxing Day and there will be other people there I will need to give something to, but nothing too big or fancy.

Take care.

Humour for Christmas Card Club

Good morning and I hope you are all well.  I can see a little sunshine this morning which makes a nice change. I totally forgot to do this post even though my card has been ready for a few days.  Ah well, better late than never.  This is our last challenge this year and Rachel chose humour

My Card

This is a small A6 card using an image from Bugaboo "JJ Cheers".  The backing paper was made digitally and I added the cocktail glasses. The sentiment is computer generated.

A very quick post but I have a lot to do today so I will just crack on.

Take care and have a good day.

Winter Wonderland - Anything Goes Christmas

Good morning.  Here at Winter Wonderland we have reached our final challenge for 2019 and as usual it is Anything Goes - As long it is is Christmas themed.

Our sponsor is  Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the prize on offer is a $5 voucher to spend instore.

The design team all worked with the same digi image, Magical Santa Tree, and it was interesting to see the different cards produced.

My Card

Recipe
6" square base card - from kraft card stock
red plaid card stock - Dovecraft Glad Tidings
red cardstock - Rymans
Promarkers to colour

A very simple flat card so easy to post.

Hope everyone is well and nearly ready for the big occasion! We had a shopping trip with our WI Craft and Laugh group to Webbs of Wychbold, near Droitwich on Tuesday. It is a great retail place with Webbs Garden Centre, and everything else available at garden centres these days. There was a very large Hobbycraft and also a terrific Lakeland store.  That wrapped up my Christmas gifts nicely - no pun intended!

Another short post I'm fraid.

Take care.
