CCC Two Patterned Papers

Good morning and it's time for another card for our Christmas Card Club.  These two weeks certainly flash by. The theme, chosen by GranMargaret, is to use at least two patterned papers.

My Card

This uses up lots of old stash. The patterned papers are from an old Papermania pack and the topper is an LOTV image from many years ago. I computer generated the sentiment. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have loads of these which I haven't used for years because I started buying flower dies and the everything else was forgotten. I think we are all guilty of this and there must be mountains of "stuff" we have all bought over the years.

Anyway, enjoy your weekend.

Christmas Card Club - Blue and Silver

Good morning. It seems really weird to be posting a Christmas card in this incredible heat!! I hate saying this but I really cannot cope with these temperatures.  I overheat quickly and being very fair I also burn quickly. I hope those of you who like these conditions are enjoying it.

My Card

This is a silver base card. The image is really cute but I really don't know where I got it from.  I suspect it was a freebie and I have had it for years. I have only used it a few times. It is mounted on silver mirror card, as is the computer generated sentiment, but it does look black in the picture. Th snowflakes are Memory Box and coated in glue and pale blue Art Glitter. A couple of blue bows and some pearl drops to mimic snow and it was done.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Red, White and Blue at IAAS

Good morning, and yet another post which is week overdue - same reason as yesterday. But even worse - the theme was chosen by me! My head is hanging in shame! I chose this theme because, as our name suggests, our DT are from various countries with some from the US and last Sunday was their July 4th celebration and this gave them the option to incorporate it into their project if they so wished.

My Card

The base card is 6 inches square card stock.  All dies are from John Next Door. The main dies are Oundle,  the flowers and leaves  are Small Flowers and Small Leaves and the sentiment die is Stencil Sayings which was cut into the centre Oundle die. The red, white and blue striped paper was a scrap left over from another project and I had just enough to cut into four squares and change orientation of each square.

Take care.

Anything Goes at Christmas Card Club

Good  morning. I am losing the plot. This should have been posted last week. It was made and photographed well in time - then I got so busy with a mountain of other stuff and it went completely out of mind, so apologies to my friends in the CCC.

My Card

This another simple card from the diecut book from The Works. So simple to put together but so effective. I just added the green mat and then mounted it onto a 7"x5" Kraft base card. Another one to to add to my Christmas stash which is building nicely nice.

Take care and enjoy your weekend, although it's raining here in Oxfordshire.

12 Months of Christmas Link up - Christmas in July

Good morning. It's time for a new challenge a 12 MoC Link Up.  This month we do not have a sponsor so it is basically Anything Goes although please remember  to make your card a Christmas card!!

My Cards

I used the same frame for both cards which is from DDDoodles. For the first card I computer generated a sentiment and for the second one I used another image from DDDoodles "Peace be your gift". I printed the images directly onto linen card stock and the cut them to make six inch square cards making them one layer cards which I rarely ever do.

Why not pop across to the blog and check out the work of the rest of the Sleigh Belles and then come back again on July 15th and see the work of the Merry Maidens.

Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Cool It Down at MAWTT

Good morning. and I hope you are all well. It's time for another challenge at MAWTT and Tinz has chosen the theme of "Cool It Down".

My Card

This is a very simple card using a pre-made image from The Paper Shelter. All I did was double mount it onto two shades of green card then added it to a 6" square cream base card. A computer generated sentiment was die cut with Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles and  added to the corner. If you pop over to the blog you will see the cards made by the rest of the team.

Enjoy your day.
