Winter Scene at Christmas Card Club

Good morning from a very murky, misty Oxfordshire. Mrs A chose the theme for our little club today and she wants to see a winter scene.

Card # 1

This beautiful scene is an image from Greeting Card Factory Deluxe.  I printed it onto linen card stock and mounted it onto a 5" x 7" base card. Lashings of glitter just put the finishing touch to a lovely scene.  It looks so lovely on the linen card stock that I am tempted to print a larger copy and mount it as a picture to use as part of my Christmas decorations.

Card # 2

6" square white base card. I mounted navy paper onto the base card and dotted it with glitter for snow. The Memory Box die was cut from linen card stock (it was still sitting on my desk so I decided to make use of it). I then cut a wavy line for the foreground. The trees are again from Memory Box and the Father Christmas and his reindeer is a Sue Wilson die.

Hope all is well with you.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Take care.

Both of your cards are so lovely. The first is a really pretty scene!

Your second card looks fab. Loving all those wonderful dies. You did a good job adding the hill and more trees. The Sue Wilson Santa and reindeer add a perfect finishing touch here.

I love using linen cardstock for printing it makes the image look like a canvas and gives the over all finish an opulent feel. Two fabulous Winter Scenes here Christine.

Hi Christine, loving both cards. The first one is fabulous on linen card, almost has a canvas painting look to it. Some gorgeous dies used on the second one, I particularly like the santa & sleigh. So sorry for being so late, Hugs, Shaz X
